The Sunbeams Staff

Mrs. Long rejoined Sunbeams in 2021 after first starting at Sunbeams in 2016. She has a bachelor's degree in liberal studies - Elementary Education, a Multiple Subjects teaching credential, and a master's degree in education- Curriculum and Instruction. Mrs. Long's favorite thing about Sunbeams is being a part of this school and church community. She loves seeing God's love in action, reveling in the creativity that pours out of the classrooms, and building relationships with each family. 

Pastor Kirk joined Sunbeams and Lutheran Church of the Cross in 2013.  He has a bachelor’s degree in Theology and a master’s degree in Divinity. Pastor Kirk thinks Sunbeams is a great place to share the good news of Jesus Christ with students and families. It’s a placed filled with joy, smiles, and fun.

Ms. Walker joined Sunbeams in 2024. She has a bachelor's degree in Secondary English Education. Ms. Walker's favorite part about teaching at Sunbeams is the people and students she gets to work with every day, constantly surrounding her with positivity. She believes you can truly tell that God is working through the entirety of the school at Sunbeams displayed by the smiling faces you get to be around every day! 

Mrs. Hulvey rejoined Sunbeams in 2021 after first starting at Sunbeams in 2009. She has a bachelor’s degree in Education.  Mrs. Hulvey's favorite thing about Sunbeams is sharing chapel time together. Having the entire school gathering each week to learn and grow in faith and sing praises to God is so powerful. 

Mrs. Hart joined Sunbeams in 2025. She has a Bachelor of Science in Biology (Pre-Med) and Environmental Science, has a strong background in Early Childhood Education, and is currently working toward earning a master's degree in education.   

Ms. Paulson joined Sunbeams in 2025. She has earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Ms. Paulson is excited to be joining our teaching staff this year and looks forward to sharing God's love and her love of learning with all our students.  

Ms. Halley joined Sunbeams in 2020.  She has a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts, a bachelor’s degree in Children’s Studies, and a master’s degree in Education. Ms. Halley loves Sunbeams because she can put Christ in the middle of all curriculum. Teaching the Lord in all things at school is precious.  

Mrs. Baumgartner joined Sunbeams in 2025. She has an associate of arts degree and holds a Washington State Early Childhood Education Certificate. Mrs. Baumgartner feels blessed to be joining the Sunbeams community and is looking forward to sharing God's love and joy with all our students. 

Mrs. Jamieson joined Sunbeams in 2014.  She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. Being a part of Sunbeams has taught her so much about helping children grow.  Seeing students go from difficult parent good-byes to confident learners who are ready to take on any challenge will always be her greatest joy.

Ms. Kliskey joined Sunbeams in 2025. She holds an Associate of Arts degree and is currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a dual focus in Special Education. Ms. Kliskey finds so much joy in serving the students each day and guiding them toward a deeper relationship with Jesus. She feels truly blessed to be part of the Sunbeams community and to share in all that God is doing here! 

Mrs. Ginn joined Sunbeams in 2023. She has bachelor's degrees in Communications and Intercultural Studies. She loves seeing our students take joy in learning about the Lord and the world He created, and is excited to be a part of such an amazing team!

Mrs. Braatz joined Sunbeams and Lutheran Church of the Cross as a staff memeber in 2022.  She has a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering,  a minor in Music, and an HR Generalist Certificate. 

Ms. Lidia joined Sunbeams and Lutheran Church of the Cross in 2010.
